FrostWire Basics
FrostWire is an open source peer-to-peer file sharing program for gnutella and BitTorrent protocols. It is considered as a fork of another famous P2P file sharing client called LimeWire. The FrostWired is developed by members of the LimeWire open source community.

Features of FrostWires
FrostWire has many functionality of free and pro version of LimeWire. On top of that, FrostWire contains no pop-ups, no nag screens, no inhibiting features. User would not get bombarded by ads. In addition, FrostWire users do not have to worry about simultaneous download restrictions.
FrostWire has some new features. It comes with friendly online chatroom. However, certain LimeWire features such as the instant messenger are not available in FrostWire.
FrostWire connections are encrypted with TLS by default unless it is disabled in the preferences. More connections can be made using FrostWire client now.
FrostWire’s BitTorrent engine is now powered by Azureus technology. Before this, a simplified version of LimeWire’s BitTorrent engine was used.
You can now share file between your Adroid FrostWire client and desktop computers running it through wireless connection. No pre-configuration on either end is required. These devices are connected automatically if they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
FrostWire is now compatible with iTune.
The skins of FrostWire has been improved. There are more skins to choose from.
